Well...I am not sure if the commenter at Red Carpets is a man or a woman...but I am willing to bet-it is an ugly, fat, barren woman who either votes Democrat or is a closet case. I love to fish-which I why I keep throwing out the bait. And "haters" keep biting.

I feel such gratitude toward Congressman Ron Paul for his comments during the Republican presidential debate that I just might vote for guy. You sure as hell don't hear Democrats talking like that.

Some years ago, I ran into Fred Thompson at Washington's Reagan National Airport and had a chat with him as we waited for a (very) delayed flight. I found him to be affable and nice -- good company, if you want to know -- but I cannot remember a single thing he said. Alas, it is about the same with his Senate career.

One thing that should be clear to anyone who's been paying attention these past few years is that we need to go out and get ourselves the smartest president we can find. We need a brainiac president, a regular Mister or Miss Smarty-Pants. We need to elect the kid you hated in high school, the teacher's pet with perfect grades.
